I liked the responsiveness of my request for a quote and ability to be available for my schedule. On the day of the junk removal, the two movers, Gary and John, were very polite and professional. Throughout the afternoon, they consistently checked in with me on what I wanted removed, worked quietly and smoothly, and cleaned up afterwards. In four hours, the rest of my mom's home was emptied out and we did not have to do it. The guys doing the job were very nice and professional and we were comfortable with them in our home. It's hard to pack up the items in your parents house, especially one you grew up in and was so loved by your parent. This made it easier. It was quick and efficient. Our goal was to have as little of my mom's possessions as possible go to landfill. That's why we started with Reuse America in Bushwick, Brooklyn run by Elliot Bitman. We gave to family first, then to Reuse America for sale (non-profit organization) and to families Elliot connection us with that needed furniture, so a lot was already gone. Elliot recommended your service for the rest. Even after the house seemed relatively empty, surprisingly, we filled 1 3/4 trucks with the balance. Your service was the perfect follow-up to his because as much as possible went to charity, and next, what could went to be recycled. Less wound up in landfill.
